Rick Bingham BA, AADC, CAS, NCAC-II, LCDC, Ord. Min. Rick has been working in the field of addiction treatment for over 40 years. He has worked with various forms of addiction treatment, from inpatient detox to wilderness therapy. Currently, he is the program director of the Anti-Aging and Longevity Center of Texas, where he has worked for the past 14 years. He has been working in the field of medication assisted treatment or harm reduction for the past 25 years. Rick is highly involved as a speaker, trainer, & acu-detox specialist. He is a published author, being a major contributor to Two Miles or Twenty Minutes. He moonlights doing acu-detox treatments and group facilitating for Addicare outpatient services in Garland, Drug Offender classes for Genesis in Dallas, and trainings for Nexus. Over the years, he has served on various boards, with the most recent being the Vice President for the USA/OTP (a support organization for opiate treatment providers in a 5 state region). Other boards he has served are: Recovery Institute For Addiction Studies Currently. Pettijohn Springs Encampment (President 1988-1990), Wilderness Trek Christian Camp (1981-1993), and Dallas Chapter of TAAP (2000-2007). Rick was the recipient of the Marie Huggett Volunteer Award (Fort Worth TAAP) in 2010. He is a long standing member of TAAP and is active in both the Dallas and Fort Worth chapters. He is married and has 5 children and 11 grandchildren. For leisure he enjoys camping/backpacking, golf, photography, woodworking, guitar, Navajo flute, and singing south gospel music.
