EVENT The 2016 Heroes Luncheon scheduled for, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Spokane Convention Center will bring together approximately 500 community leaders to honor hometown heroes. These heroes reflect the mission of the Red Cross by responding in time of need with selfless acts of courage, compassion and volunteerism. HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE? Just post! THE RED CROSS STORY The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
