OEFT (MILAN, ITA) Oncology Training International (OTI), Inc., and San Raffaele Hospital, Italy, will be hosting a combined five day training early March 2015 in Milan, Italy. The five days will combine the Oncology Esthetics Foundation Training with the Salute allo Specchio Health in the Mirror (SAS) project. Salute allo Specchio Health in the mirror Salute allo Speccho Is an initiative sponsored by San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, in collaboration with Vita Salute University, OTI Oncology Training International Oncology Esthetics and AVO Segrate. This concept originated with the belief that medical excellence and quality of care as an integrative approach can be applied by combining traditional medicine with psychology and oncology esthetics. During a series of one-on-one and group sessions with professionals in the medical field, psychological, oncology esthetics and fashion, these women are taught how to manage their side effects and how to re-establish their quality of life. This training will be facilitated in English as our students are coming in from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, United States and Canada. This special edition is open to licensed and certified medical and spa professionals who would like to gain international experience and to participate in the first international study. Course Objectives: a medical overview of cancers and their treatments: What does the practitioner need to know prior to wellness treatments? practitioner-client interaction: Dos and don ts of cancer patient care. lymphatic system overview: Avoiding lymphedema. key ingredients in makeup and skincare products to include or avoid. guest speakers: Cancer survivors share their experiences. reaching out to potential clients living with cancer.
