General information Live educational preceptorship course dates The live educational preceptorship course in oncology will be held on the following dates: 27-30 April 2015 11-13 May 2015 * 21-24 September 2015 12-15 October 2015 2-5 November 2015 Venue The live educational preceptorship course will be held at: Centre Hépato-biliaire 14 avenue Paul Vaillant Couturier 94800 Villejuif (Paris) - France How to get to the venue: By metro: Line 7, stop Paul-Vaillant-Couturier By bus: 162, 185, 131. Language The official language of the live educational preceptorship course will be English. Since the primary language of the Centre Hépato-biliaire is French, knowledge of French is preferable. Structure of the preceptorship course 4 days long: each preceptorship runs from Monday to Thursday Maximum group size is 8 participants for each preceptorship Parallel sessions for medical oncologists and surgeons * Please note that this preceptorship will last 3 days only. Preceptorship course in metastatic colorectal cancer management EXCEMED live educational course: Preceptorship course in metastatic colorectal cancer management Aim This live educational preceptorship aims to highlight the crucial role of the multidisciplinary approach in diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer. This activity offers the opportunity to learn from a recognized, experienced multidisciplinary team, led by Prof. René Adam, about current treatment options for metastatic colorectal cancer patients. Effective interaction between the multidisciplinary team and participants will be encouraged through clinical case discussion, video sessions and practice sessions. Learning objectives After attending this live educational preceptorship course, participants will be able to: Define the methodology of the multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer patients Summarize the modern onco-surgical management of colorectal liver metastases and systemic therapy for colorectal cancer Improve their knowledge of the current clinical practice in the management of patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer Target audience Medical oncologists and surgeons experienced in the management of colorectal cancer patients. 3
