Charges are considered delinquent and will be charged 15% annually if not paid 45 days after the due date (75 days after the charge is incurred). Delinquent accounts up to $100 will be collected through in-house collection procedures, and those over $100 will be turned over to a collection agency. Services to ALL delinquent accounts are to be discontinued until the account is current. Case Generation Fee: $10.00 (All cases except Clinical Pathology and Food Safety) Standard Diagnostic Evaluation Charge:* (South Dakota clients) $50.00 (Out-of-state clients) $60.00 * Fees include up to 25 tests (excluding molecular diagnostics and toxicology), but can include: routine histopathology, 2 special histology stains, 10 aerobic cultures, 2 anaerobic cultures, 2 Salmonella enrichments, virus isolation, fluorescent antibody testing, up to 2 IHC antigens on up to 2 blocks each, 1 CBC, 1 chemistry panel, and parasitology as deemed appropriate by the case coordinator on tissues from 1-3 animals or 1-10 birds/fish with the same disease syndrome from the same animal unit and from which test specimens can be pooled/mixed and reported as a composite. Gross Necropsy Only (without Standard Diagnostic Evaluation) NOTE: The ADRDL does not accept animals from the general public for routine disposal. Cases requiring detailed examinations and culturing, such as insurance cases, will be charged the full sum of individual procedures. Testing fees for company research and development are subject to a 50% R & D surcharge. An additional disposal fee may be applied when necessary. The ADRDL is an accredited AAVLD laboratory and a member of the USDA National Animal Health Laboratory Network. Completing and submitting any submission form or any other means of requesting services creates a contractual agreement for services requested and the specimens submitted become the property of the ADRDL. In addition, at no additional expense to our clients, specimens submitted to the ADRDL may be subjected to additional testing upon the order of state or federal animal health officials, or whenever a Foreign Animal Disease is suspected, or in support of surveillance for other animal diseases. MYCOTOXINS AND TOXICOLOGY: All mycotoxin and toxicology requests are sent to referral laboratories. SEROLOGY: There will be one (1) case generation fee for serology services per accession. Please separate from the clot and submit 0.5 ml clear, not hemolyzed, serum per test requested. All samples MUST BE RECEIVED BY 10:00 AM or they cannot be set up until the following run day for that test. For diseases not listed, samples may be forwarded to other laboratories for a shipping fee.
