Thank you! For the health and recovery of Logan Lewis, family friend of the Shaws For the health of Ethan Weir and strength for his family For prayers of comfort for Linda Zender, friend of the Shaw family For the health of Rada Quinones, greatuncle of Noah Uhl Saint of the Week: St. Joan of Arc Joan began hearing the voices of St. Margaret, St. Catherine of Alexandria, and Michael the Archangel as a young girl. They told her to go to the man born to be the King of France and to lead the army to re-conquer his kingdom. Many thought she was crazy and inappropriate to be dressed in armor as a man would. Through her faith she led the army to victory and France was reunited and Charles VII was crowned king. Later Joan was captured, and tried for heresy-telling lies about the faith. King Charles did nothing to defend her. She was found guilty and burned at the stake. Her trial was reinvestigated and she was found to be innocent. Her feast day is May 30.
