Clinical Director Experience: Developing wound and lymphedema out-patient treatment center with orthopaedic surgeon, vascular surgeon, and vascular medicine specialist who serve as medical directors; treating patients with chronic wounds including diabetic, venous, ischemic, pressure, and post-surgical wounds; management of patients with lymphedema of upper extremity, lower extremity and trunk, and managing all aspects of clinical operations. Development of in-patient wound care program in our acute care quaternary medical center began Jan 2013. Developed in-patient pressure ulcers treatment guidelines. My manager responsibilities include: supervising staff (hiring, orientation, training, competency assessment, ongoing performance management and annual reviews), ensuring compliance with billing/coding and documentation requirements, scheduling (staff and clinic), purchasing of clinical equipment/supplies, evaluating and facilitating new equipment and supplies for patient care, marketing, monitoring budget expenses/revenues, chairing committees for Wound Center Administration, and for clinical development in the center, addressing patient and staff concerns and problem-solving daily operational issues, developing clinical protocols, outcomes measures, patient education materials and evaluation forms. Planning and implementing transition to wound care-specific EMR system. I have also supervised physical therapy students on specialty clinical rotation from Duquesne, University of Pittsburgh, and Slippery Rock University DPT programs. Served on planning committee and as Course Co- Director for regional Annual Wound Seminar presented @ AGH each Fall from 2003-present. March 1998 July 2003: Centers for Rehab.
