Statements & Search Criteria Mission Lmar Integrative & Holistic Medicine & Anti-Aging Therapies, Inc. is dedicated to educating the community on the practices of natural, holistic medicines. We also educate on the topics of anti-aging therapies, natural remedies, nutrition, healthy diet, alternative medicine and exercise, such as yoga, tai chi and breathing exercises, in the quest for a healthy lifestyle. We will provide workshops and educational seminars to the local community focused on these topics. These educational sessions may take place over a single session, or they may take place over several weeks. Workshops and seminars will be geared either towards the general public or towards healthcare professionals. All educational sessions will be free for participants. We will also conduct research on the benefits of natural remedies, self-massage, nutrition, mindfulness meditation and breathing exercises. We will provide reference materials and referrals to previously published scientific materials on the topics. We will also provide services to the public including: mindfulness meditation, massage, acupressure points, aroma therapy, reflexology and facial rejuvenation. These services will be provided at no charge or for a suggested donation based on the need of the individual. Background Lmar Integrative & Holistic Medicine & Anti-Aging Therapies, Inc was created and inspired to educate and serve the local community. It is a 501(c)(3) educational, public nonprofit charity dedicated to educating the community on the practices of natural, holistic medicines. Impact Accomplishments in the community: Provided educational seminars to nursing home residents and assisted living facilities residents. Improvement in the community's nutrition with whole foods, healthy lifestyle recommendations, healthy diet, why food is medicine, holistic and natural remedies to heal mind, body and spirit and deal with stress and anxiety, improving immunity and cellular function. Learning how to relax using daily meditation, deep breathing exercises and improve sleep, energy and quality of life. Incorporating monthly massages, daily acupressure points, reflexology, using and educating the health benefits of complementary alternative medicine, modalities of aromatherapy, acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, massage and reflexology and Chiropractic. Holistic medicine provides benefits of all ages that are doing tai chi, yoga how it has made a difference in quality of life and improves your health and longevity and has been around for thousands of years. Giving back to community and serving the community with natural and holistic medicine. 2

Needs Lmar Integrative & Holistic Medicine & Anti-Aging Therapies, Inc. needs volunteers to help once a week with Program 1 and 2 to help with nutrition, daily healthy regimes. The educational nonprofit organization needs funding for program expansion and capacity building. The organization would be interested in expanding and growing the educational nonprofit center and work together with other local nonprofits. Two Programs that would like to be implemented for serving the community. Program 1 is to add and implement to the school systems both in private and public starting from elementary school to college actual nutrition classes how to eat, what foods to eat and how these food can benefit the body. Also offering healthy and homemade cooked meals and healthy snacks as options. During lunch time or breaks there should be access and accommodations for gluten free, vegetarians and vegans. Bottled water, natural juices herbal teas, hot water should be always available for the student for purchase. Also adding to the school curriculum: meditation, yoga and tai chi classes at least once a week for gym/ exercise classes. Program 2: For local nursing home and adult assisted living facilities adding to activities and as an option for the residents to learn about nutrition, What foods to eat and why food is medicine, health and wellness, holistic medicine, meditation, tai chi and beginner yoga classes at least once a week. Offering to the residents better food options such as fresh ingredients, home- cooked meals healthy food, for : vegetarian, gluten free, vegan and healthy snacks during the day always having filtered water, and herbal teas available. These programs will need funding, part- time and full time positions, several volunteers would be needed for each program to be coordinated.
