This educational event is for patients, their families and the public who are interested in exploring health care issues surrounding brain tumors. Symposium Goals: Learn the importance of genetics in brain tumor research Discuss innovative options for treating brain tumors Discuss strategies for the challenges of living with a brain tumor Explore the use of dietary herbs and supplements in cancer care Learn practical approaches to decrease stress and increase resilience Identify tips for managing symptoms and long-term treatment effects Hear personal stories from brain tumor survivors Support for the symposium is provided by the Mayo Clinic Stephen and Barbara Slaggie Innovation in Cancer Education Fund
