FAQ s What happens with the money raised from the American Cancer Society Road America Run/Walk event? Funds raised through American Cancer Society Road America Run/Walk event support the American Cancer Society's fight to end cancer. Specifically, these dollars are used to make a difference by funding critical research, educating people on prevention and early detection, and providing free information and services to help people facing cancer today-including transportation, lodging, wigs, support programs and more. See the enclosed flyer for more details on how we made a difference in WI in 2015. How do I sign up my kids? All participating adults and children need to register for the event. An adult can register up to 4 children (under 18) while registering themselves online. What about offline registrations? New this year! Please allow approximately 1 week after sending registration forms for individuals to be reflected online. What should I do if I raise funds offline? You may send collected cash/checks to the American Cancer Society office in Green Bay. Please be sure to include your team and name so we can credit properly.
