Educational needs The XXXIX Advanced Course in Paediatric Pathology, Organised by the International Paediatric Pathology Association is intended as an on-going resource to meet the educational needs of paediatric pathologists, perinatal pathologists, general pathologists whose practice includes paediatric pathology, and pathology specialists trainees. Educational Objectives - To provide an overview on practical aspects of paediatric and perinatal histopathology - To provide an up-date on: trophoblastic diseases, placental mesenchymal dysplasia, intrapartum trauma, sudden infant death, practical approach to diagnosing and reporting: paediatric gynaecological conditions, metabolic bone disease, caudal regression syndromes, Hirschsprung disease and oral pathology. The course will also include an approach to inflicted injuries in childhood and Munchausen syndrome by proxy; transplant and tumour pathology
