CALF FEEDING PROGRAM DIRECTIONS: Directions For Use FOR INCREASED RATE OF WEIGHT GAIN. First 3 days: Feed 3 to 4 pounds (4-5% of birth weight) of colostrum per calf twice daily. Day 4 through Weaning: Feed a calf milk replacer according to label directions. Provide Dairy Replacement Grower B70 Pellet. Adjust feeding management practices so that calves are eating at least 2 lbs. of Dairy Replacement Grower B70 Pellet daily at weaning which will provide 70 mg. of Lasalocid per day. 7th Week through 12-16 weeks: Feed Dairy Replacement Grower B70 Pellet continuously at a rate of 1.7 lbs. to 5.7 lbs. per head daily to provide not less than 60 mg. nor more than 200 mg. of lasalocid daily. Provide good quality hay and fresh water at all times. FOR CONTROL OF COCCIDIOSIS: The specific level of lasalocid to feed for coccidiosis control is 1 mg/kg (2.2 lbs.) of body weight with a maximum of 360 mg. of lasalocid per head per day. Feed Dairy Replacement Grower B70 Pellet at a rate of 1.7 lbs. to 5.7 lbs. per head daily to heifers weighing from 130 to 440 lbs. to provide 1 mg. lasalocid per kg. body weight. CAUTION: Feeding undiluted or mixnig errors may result in an excess lasalocid concentration which could be fatal to cattle and sheep., Do not allow horses or other equines access to feed containing lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Safety of lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in preruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
