Participants are urged to bring the child s current IEP or IFSP, as well as a list of outcomes they would like to see on their child s next IEP. Parents will learn how to teach their children how to ask questions, comment, and make a request in order to socially interact with others and gain information about their surroundings. This presentation is based on Pivotal Response Training. Please note that this training is appropriate for parents of children who have some verbal ability (I.e., children who can make requests for their wants and needs, but do not ask questions or comment on their environment).
