Executive Summary School students were asked to participate in an anonymous survey to help ASP to evaluate the percentage of drug addiction among Afghan youth both boys and girls. A total of 96 students took part in survey, 56 were male and 40 female, and the survey was conducted in two different schools. Items on the survey were direct questions, and included the following topics: Whether you are using drug If yes, which type of drug and how many times The reason for initiating with drugs Note: The complete survey questionnaire is included later in this document for reference. Methodology The survey form (questionnaire) was developed with input from organization manager, medical doctors and psychologists. The final survey form was printed in half A4 size papers. Schools were contacted to facilitate for the survey. Before filling the questionnaire, students were briefed about the survey, its purpose and that the survey is anonymous; survey participants were made confident that their identification will remain secret. On scheduled time and date, students were asked to complete the questionnaire and drop it in a specific box, which was placed in a specific location. The sealed box, containing filled survey forms were returned to ASP office. The questionnaires were checked in a meeting between organization manager, surveyors, and administrative staff. After check, proper report was prepared. Note: The results reported can only be considered the opinions of the survey participants. They cannot be generalized to represent the entire client population as a whole.
