TotalCare Bariatric Plus Therapy System One therapy system, that s all. Safety and efficiency. Mobility and dignity.

The best of TotalCare Plus TotalCare Bariatric Plus Therapy System combines all the best features of the TotalCare Bed System, plus special features you need to manage your bariatric patients. At a glance Safety and Efficiency Optional low airloss pressure redistribution surface helps to prevent and treat ulcers IntelliDrive Powered Transport for efficient in-bed patient transport Turn Assist for easier patient repositioning FlexAfoot retractable foot mechanism helps keep patients from sliding down in bed 30-Degree Head of Bed Angle alarm and trending HandsFree emergency CPR and Trendelenburg Mobility Pulmonary therapies including continuous lateral rotation therapy (CLRT) and percussion/vibration therapy Upright FullChair position with dependent leg positioning for up in chair Chair egress from side and foot-end and seat deflate for easier positioning Dignity Attractive, mainstream design Single-post patient helper trapeze 500-pound weight capacity with 40-inch surface Available Pressure Redistribution Surfaces Multi-layer foam Low airloss pressure redistributing surface Low airloss with pulmonary therapies - Continuous lateral rotation therapy - Percussion and vibration 500-pound capacity all in an appealing bed that blends right in. Single-post patienthelper trapeze, allows patients to reposition themselves without asking for help.

Low airloss pressure redistribution with surface with optional pulmonary therapies help to prevent and treat pressure ulcers. Includes Turn Assist, Seat Deflate, Max Inflate, and optional CLRT and P&V therapies, all designed to make daily care easier and safer. FullChair position with cradle transition gently supports the bariatric patient to minimize sliding during FullChair positioning. Accessory outlet at foot of bed is ideal for such equipment as sequential compression devices, patient lifts, or air transfer devices. 30-Degree Head of Bed angle alarm and trending for patient care protocols TotalCare Bariatric Plus System One therapy system, that s all.

Safety and efficiency Protecting patients and caregivers, and helping deliver care faster with fewer people Surface illustration Our pressure redistribution surface with low-airloss therapy distributes load over the contact areas of the body, helping to minimize tissue damage and reduce the risk of pressure ulcers. Using the patient s weight, the air system automatically adjusts the pressures specifically for that patient. Opti-Rest provides a soothing, wave-like comfort modality that continues to provide pressure redistribution. Max Inflate firms the surface quickly for enhanced patient handling. The low airloss surface makes it easy to administer continuous lateral rotation therapy (CLRT) and percussion/vibration therapy at a touch of a button. Our multilayered foam surface also provides special protection. The multilayered foam surface has a soft top layer for patient comfort and a supportive bottom layer. The surface also provides special protection for the heel area with its expandable visco elastic foam. This foam surface is designed to provide pressure redistribution in all bed positions, including FullChair positioning.

Fast, efficient transport. With IntelliDrive Powered Transport, even one caregiver can transport your bariatric patient. Easier routine care. Turn Assist uses the bed s pressure relief surface to help turn the patient, making it easier and safer to perform linen changes and other routine tasks. No more tugging and pulling. The FlexAfootTM retractable foot mechanism allows the bed system to be customized to the patient s height, minimizing sliding down in bed. FullChair position with cradle transition gently supports the bariatric patient to minimize sliding during FullChair positioning (not pictured).

Mobility and dignity Getting patients moving throughout their stay, and preserving their dignity at every turn From in bed The single post patient-helper trapeze allows patients to reposition themselves in bed. Designed for safety, it locks in the central position. The FlexAfootTM retractable foot mechanism allows the bed system to be customized to the patient s height. Continuous lateral rotation therapy (CLRT) and percussion/vibration therapy can easily be administered to help clear secretions from the lungs. To up in chair FullChair position provides the benefits of up in chair without moving the patient. Because the frame and surface are integrated, FullChair positioning is achieved with just the touch of a button. This feature minimizes the risk of injury to the patient and the caregiver. Cradle Transition provides improved support for larger patients as they move into the FullChair position.

To standing up Seat deflate gently lowers the patient to a safe distance from the floor. Chair Egress permits safer, easier patient egress, both front and side, with less risk of injury for caregivers.
