Most recent achievements elearning platform: Full release at ECR 2015 European Training Curriculum for Radiology: Supported by 66 National Societies (European and non-european) and 15 Subspecialty Societies; updated version to be released by ECR 2015 ESR Visits and Outreach: Assessment visits performed in Umeå/SE, Kaunas/LI and Split/HR by the ESR s European Training Programme Assessment (ETAP) Subcommittee in 2014; further institutions to follow in 2015. Learning Centres: Following the success of the learning centre established in Barcelona, additional centres in Vienna and Bogotá will be opened very soon; the establishment of other centres is still under consideration.

Most recent achievements Paedatric DRL Tender: Workshop on European Diagnostic Reference Levels for Paediatric Imaging scheduled for October 15-17, 2015 (Lisbon/Portugal) EMA Task Force: established in 2012 to better coordinate ESR s activities and positions with regard to contrast media related topics and to liaise more effectively with the European Medicines Agency and other relevant bodies GSRQS: Next Global Summit on Radiological Quality and Safety of ACR and ESR: October 10-11, 2015, Barcelona EuroSafe Imaging Campaign: Call for Action launched in September 2014; implementation of 9 of 12 action items in progress

Most recent achievements Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers: The ESR establishes collaboration with the RSNA s Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers Alliance (QIBA) with the aim to define the structure of a future alliance for the standardisation of imaging biomarkers in Europe with a focus on clinical validation. ESR/RSNA Structured Reporting Initiative: The ESR and the RSNA have agreed to collaborate on this initiative. Existing content could be translated by the ESR National Societies; the ESR Subspecialties and Allied Sciences Societies could create their own reporting templates as well. CDS: ESR experts work on European imaging referral guidelines starts in November 2014, in partnership with American College of Radiology and National Decision Support Company Imaging Observatory: online library of quantitative imaging data; expanded to include statistics on the United States as well as an imaging equipment age profile and market data for Europe in 2014

Most recent achievements ESR Call for a European Action Plan for Medical Imaging: The ESR officially launched the Call for a European Action Plan for Medical Imaging to improve quality of care and patient safety on November 4, 2014 at the European Parliament in Brussels. The Action Plan is endorsed by 41 national societies of radiology (incl. 26 EU Member States) as well as by all 15 European subspecialty societies of ESR. International Day of Radiology: new record: 125 participating societies from 66 countries celebrated the third edition on November 8, 2014 on main theme brain imaging (proposed by PAGMI), in collaboration with Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American College of Radiology (ACR); cooperation with ESNR and ESTRO as well as EFNA and SAFE for a book on brain imaging
