COURSES This course covers important concepts such as confidence interval and hypothesis testing, as well as issues such as the use of the subgroup analysis in trials, and how to deal with confounding in observational studies. Standard statistics (means, OR, R2) will be described as well as appropriate situations for their use. Commonly used statistical techniques, such as simple invariable tests, and multiple variable methods will be introduced using examples. Registration link: Intermediate SPSS
The Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) system is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases for your research project at no cost. By using REDCap, you may create, design and manage your research projects online. REDCap also provides automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to common statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, Stata and R, as well as a built-in project calendar, REDCap mobile app, a scheduling module, ad hoc reporting tools, and advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields.
