VISION CASTING What is the vision for your A-Teams group? Vision casting is the process of establishing a vision and making it known. It is a vital part of starting a movement and retaining dedicated members. Vision casting can range from creating the vision for your A-Teams group to casting the vision for a single meeting. The vision of The A21 Campaign is fourfold: 1) Prevent people from being trafficked 2) Protect and support those who have been trafficked 3) Prosecute traffickers and strengthen legal responses to trafficking 4) Partner with law enforcement, service providers, and community members to provide a comprehensive front against trafficking The vision for each A-Teams group will be different. Do you want to focus on fundraising? Or empower those around you to make a difference? What about spreading awareness? Perhaps something entirely different? Your vision could be a combination of all of these action steps. Brainstorm together and come up with a group name and a comprehensive vision for your A-Teams group. In a couple of statements, describe your goals and your plan to accomplish them. For Example: Name: Tigers Against Trafficking Vision Statement: Tigers Against Trafficking is a group of LSU students firmly committed to playing our part in the abolition of modern day slavery. Our heart is to mobilize both the student body and local community to actively address this injustice on a global scale. Then write out your vision statement Name of your A-Teams group: The vision of your A-Teams group: 3
