Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning or equipment or disposal of wastes. As this pesticide is not registered for the control of pests in aquatic systems, DO NOT use to control aquatic pests. Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide is highly specific to some kinds of caterpillars. Treat caterpillars when they are young to obtain best results. Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide is a stomach poison and therefore must be ingested by the caterpillar to be effective. After ingestion of a sufficient product dose, feeding stops immediately and death will follow in 2-5 days. DO NOT allow spray mixture to stand in the tank for more than 18 hours. APPLICATION RATE: Add 30 ml of concentrate to 10 litres of water. 10 L of spray solution will cover approximately 100 square metres. Spray all leaf surfaces thoroughly to provide good coverage without run-off. Repeat, if required, every 7-10 days. FOR EXPANDED DIRECTIONS FOR USE, SEE INSIDE LABEL. PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. MAY CAUSE SENSITIZATION. CAUTION EYE IRRITANT. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid breathing dust/spray mist. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, waterproof gloves, shoes and socks as well as eye goggles when handling or applying the product and during all clean-up activities. Avoid direct application to ponds, lakes and streams. Do not contaminate water bodies by cleaning equipment or disposal of waste. Avoid application if rainfall is imminent. DO NOT apply by any type of irrigation system. STORAGE: In order to ensure microbial purity and potency, Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide should be stored in the original container between 0 C and 20 C and used within 2 years of the date of manufacture. DISPOSAL: Do not reuse empty container. Wrap empty container and dispose in household garbage. FIRST AID: If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes,

This product is not effective on adult moths. Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide is a stomach poison and therefore must be ingested by the caterpillar to be effective. After ingestion of a sufficient product dose, feeding stops immediately and death will follow in 2-5 days. Add some water to the sprayer and then add the correct amount of Safer's BTK Biological Insecticide. Continue filling the sprayer with water until the correct amount of spray solution is produced. Shake sprayer periodically during use to ensure product is properly mixed. Use within 12 hours of mixing. May be applied through any standard back-pack or hand-held sprayer. DO NOT allow spray mixture to stand in the tank for more than 18 hours. DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning or equipment or disposal of wastes. Cabbage Looper, Imported Cabbageworm and Tomato Hornworm. In greenhouse plantings of Cucumbers, Peppers and Tomatoes for control of Cabbage Looper. On Raspberries, and on Pears and Apples for control of Leafrollers. Mix 30 ml of Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide concentrate in 10 litres of water and spray all leaf surfaces thoroughly to provide good coverage without run-off at first sign of infestation. Repeat at 7-10 day intervals, if required. SHADE TREES AND ORNAMENTALS: On Shade trees and Ornamentals for control of Spring and Fall Cankerworm, Tent Caterpillar, Satin Moth, and Gypsy Moth. Mix 30 ml of Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide concentrate in 10 litres of water and spray all leaf surfaces thoroughly to provide good coverage without run-off when leaf expansion reaches 40-50% and caterpillars first appear. Repeat in 7-10 days, if required. EVERGREEENS: On Evergreens for control of Spruce budworm, Jack Pine budworm and Eastern Hemlock Looper. Mix 30 ml of Safer s BTK Biological Insecticide concentrate in 10 litres of water and spray all leaf surfaces thoroughly to provide good coverage without run-off when caterpillars first appear.
