To Whom It May Concern, The Pacific Coast Oto-Ophthalmologic Society (PCOOS) would like to cordially invite you to submit an abstract in either Ophthalmology or Otolaryngology for our 101 st annual meeting. Since its inception in 1906, the Pacific Coast Oto-Ophthalmological Society (PCOOS) has been one of the oldest western societies of otolaryngologists and ophthalmologists. It is one of the only, if not the only, professional society that includes both ophthalmologists and otolaryngologists as it was started over 100 years ago when they were both one specialty. More information regarding the organization can be found here: http://pcoosonline.org/ For this upcoming year (2017) the executive council has decided extend the call for abstracts for our scientific program to include medical student research presentations. This would be an excellent opportunity for medical students interested in pursuing either Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery or Ophthalmology to present any research they are currently working on in the fields of Otolaryngology or Ophthalmology. Papers that have been submitted for publication or presentation in the past are acceptable. Criteria for Submission: If you are a medical student at an accredited M.D. or D.O school in North America, you are qualified to submit an abstract for oral presentation. This is an excellent opportunity to present at a specialty specific conference and we will have prize(s) for the top medical student scientific presentation(s).
