Modern techniques used in functional characterization and in-vitro assay like: mammalian Cell culture, western blot analysis (CFTR proteins), immunoflouresence, radioactive iodide efflux assay (basic knowledge), site directed mutagenesis and expression of plasmid in mammalian cells. Basic knowledge and hand on practice over biochemical assay techniques like HPLC and GC. Well expertise to use various bioinformatics tools like PolyPhen-2, mmb, HOPE, isatble etc., implicated in functional prediction of human SNPs. As well as basic idea and hand on practice in techniques of homology modelling.
