MEMBERSHIP MEANS MORE You are not a member of a gym when you join the Family YMCA; you are a member of a family. Membership benefits include access to wellness and aquatics facilities, a reduced rate on all programs, free adult group exercise classes, water aerobics, child watch services, volunteer opportunities, and much more. Membership Rates vary by age, number of individuals included, and branch location. Joiner s Fees are required for all new members joining the YMCA or members who let their membership lapse for more than 6 months. Payment Options include an annual payment upon joining or bank draft membership fees are withdrawn from a checking or savings account each month. Financial Assistance is available so that no one is turned away from the Y due to the inability to pay. Pick up a form at the Y or download from our website. Guest Policy and Fees are available for guests who will temporarily use our facility. Members may bring unlimited guests as long as each guest comes no more than 3 times in the same calendar year for free. All guests must complete a guest registration form and show a picture ID upon entrance. Local Guests may try the Y for free once and can extend the experience for $15/per adult for one week. Dependents of paying adults can enjoy the Y for free during this week. If local guests choose to join within the week, the $15 fee will be applied towards their Joiner s Fee or membership. Out of Town Guests may have access to Family Y facilities for $15 per week for up to 4 weeks. Dependents of paying adults can enjoy the Y for free. Guest privileges vary by season and Family Y location. SOAK UP THE FUN AT SUMMER CAMPS Kids will have an awesome summer at traditional summer day camp offered at the North Augusta Family YMCA. Campers bring a backpack, sack lunch, water bottle, snack, and spray-on sunscreen. Campers bring a swimsuit and towel on s when they will be transported to the Aiken County Family YMCA for swimming. Unless otherwise specified, camp activities are 9:00 am-4:00 pm with early drop-off beginning at 7:00 am and late pick-up until 6:00 pm provided at no additional charge. There is a $20 per child ($10 each additional child in the household) one-time, non-refundable registration fee in addition to weekly camp fees. All camps are located at Mossy Creek Elementary School, 421 W. Five Notch Rd., North Augusta. Campers will participate in leadership development and fun through various activities. L.I.T. Program (ages 16 & 17) The Leaders in Training (L.I.T.) program allows youth to develop into role models and leaders. Campers will attend a training program that will train them to create and plan programs and also develop leadership skill and character development. Throughout the summer the L.I.T.s will volunteer and serve the community. *Students must APPLY via 1-page essay on why they want to attend the L.I.T. program this summer and what they would hope to learn through the program. HEALTH, WELL-BEING & FITNESS Tour De Y - July 1 August 7 It s not France, but it s close! Tour De Y is an opportunity to collect a designated number of rides at any Family YMCA location to qualify for the final which is 4.5 hours of uninterrupted cycling. The final ride on August 15 will be hosted by the Family Y of Aiken for South Carolina branches and the Wilson Family Y for Georgia branches. All qualifying riders will receive a Tour de Y t-shirt at the final ride. Fee: $20/Members only; registration: begins June 1. Silver Sneakers The Silver Sneakers program entitles active older adult members to a basic fitness center membership and is offered at no additional cost to eligible members of participating insurance plans.
