As this is the penultimate year of the CLP the secretary in her report to the Annual Parish meeting in March 2014, raised the issue of the future of after 2016, when the CLP is completed. The Dog Wardens held a public meeting at School. Stricter monitoring and penalties are to be enforced. More effective signs are in place. HF attended the meeting and ensured that information from the meeting was placed in the May newsletter. No Community clean up has taken place this year. A small team updates the website regularly, with details of forthcoming events and point of local interest as they arise. It receives comments on local issues, which are published on the website or forwarded to relevant parties. It also receives enquiries and requests for information, for example on local walks or family history. Analytical statistics suggest that the site receives on average 50 visitors viewing between them a total of 150 pages daily. The group met biannually. It continues to promote and support existing services and has consulted elderly residents on an individual basis with regard to their general needs. Support has also been given to the arrangement and organisation of the two events organised by the Community Village Team. The Good Neighbours Group will continue to meet biannually in order to respond to any changing need or circumstance. Dependent on success of 14 & 15 above. The impact on parking of cultural and entertainment events was observed and no ensuing problems noted. 1) Maintain a watching brief on traffic/on street parking problems on Valley View Rd and Southfield and take up with CMBC again as necessary. 2) Progress possible new Valley View Rd car park through completion of feasibility study, and if positive, to submission of Planning and Asset Transfer/Leasing applications.
