Australia appeared ß at and fatigued in crashing to a 2-0 defeat to England at the weekend, having sweated through rigorous pre-world Cup Þ tness training during much of January. One of Australia s top AIS sports scientists, Dr David Pyne, helped Cricket Australia devise the loading-taper training.
