Upon installation by your dealer, your OnStar TTY system is fully functional for OnStar services. * Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with all the functions of the TTY system so that you ll be comfortable with them once you begin driving. Your OnStar TTY system provides you with access to most of the features ** described in the OnStar Subscriber Information kit in your glove box. Be sure to read the OnStar Owner Guide so that you understand all the details of how the OnStar features work. Most 2007 GM vehicles come with one year of OnStar service. Check with your dealer or an OnStar TTY Advisor to determine what service plan comes with your vehicle. Your TTY system is your communication link to trained TTY Advisors at OnStar s call centers 24/7, every day of the year. You can press the OnStar blue button, the Emergency button, and make phone calls using the dial pad. Important Note: In order to use your OnStar TTY system your vehicle must be stationary. If you initiate a call while stationary and begin moving your vehicle, the call will automatically disconnect. Your TTY device will display a call disconnected due to vehicle speed message. This feature is designed to prevent you from being distracted while driving so that you can devote your full attention to driving safely. * OnStar services require vehicle electrical system (including battery), wireless service and GPS satelite signals to be available and operating for features to funtion properly. OnStar acts as a link to existing emergency service providers. Subscriptions Service Agreement required.
