The 41st Annual Networker Symposium Symposium Registration Office * 14607 Felton Court Suite #116 * Apple Valley, MN 55124 800-379-1733 * symposium@promesaweb.com Dear Colleague, February 13, 2018 At this year s 41st Annual Networker Symposium, The Many Paths to Transformation, you can look forward to broadening your perspective on psychotherapy s latest developments and expanding your vision for the future of your practice. You can also expect to have the time of your life at a conference that s a festival of creativity and innovation, a networking opportunity par excellence, and our field s most inspiring communal gathering. All of what follows is offered in the spirit of helping everyone share a stress-free conference experience by answering many common questions in advance. We expect over 3,500 attendees this year, so please read this letter carefully. The more we re all prepared to navigate the details of life at the Symposium, the smoother and more enjoyable our time together will be. First, the basics... and included with this letter and email March 22-25, 2018 Your Admission Badge Omni Shoreham Hotel Your Personal Schedule 2500 Calvert Street, NW Omni Hotel Map Washington, DC 20008 (202) 234-0700 Your Admission Badge The enclosed badge is your ticket to all Symposium events. Don t forget to cut it out ahead of time and put it in the holder provided at the Symposium. Your workshop selections are printed on it (the workshop titles are listed on your personal schedule). Our volunteers will check your badge as you enter each workshop, so please make it easily visible. The lunches and dinners you ordered are also indicated on your registration badge. Please note that your badge is confirmation that you are registered. There is no need to go to the onsite registration desk to check in. Badge holders will be available in the lobby upon arrival. Why Is There an O or X on Your Badge? If none of your workshop choices for a particular time period were available, you ll see the letter O on your badge, which represents Open Workshops. The Onsite Guide will list Open Workshops in each time period. You can attend any of these workshops without having your badge changed. The Open Workshops are the most popular sessions, and will all be held in large ballrooms. The letter X means you didn t register for that day. If you are not registered for one of the days, you will not be allowed into sessions.
Your Personal Schedule Please take a moment now to read your Personal Schedule. Since the Omni Shoreham may seem like a complicated space at least in the beginning we ve included directions to your workshop rooms on the schedule. You can also use the Omni Hotel Map, which is included with this email, to find where your workshops and other events will take place. When You Arrive at the Omni Shoreham There s no reason to stand in line once you get to the hotel. Our red-hatted volunteers will greet you and give you a badge holder and the Onsite Guide, containing everything you ll need to get oriented to the hotel and to the Symposium activities. If you arrive on Thursday morning, you can proceed directly to Ambassador Ballroom for Coffee and Danish at 7:30 a.m. and then to the Regency Ballroom at 9:00 a.m. for the Symposium Intro and Warm Up. If you arrive on Friday or Saturday morning between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m., you can proceed directly to the Exhibit Hall for your complimentary Coffee and Danish and pick up your official symposium tote bag or simply take a seat in the Regency Ballroom to watch the keynote address. Please visit the Exhibit Hall often for DAILY prizes from exhibitors, massages and Reiki services, free Symposium tote bags, Wi-Fi, book signings by Featured Speakers, special events and our newly expanded Symposium Bookstore. Attend Only Your Assigned Workshops Your admission badge provides entry into the workshops printed on it, as well as to the Open Workshops. Because of fire laws and each room s capacity, we can t admit you to any other workshops. Our volunteers are the guardians of the gate. They ll be at the door of each workshop, checking badges as you enter. Please have your badge easily visible and please don t attempt to enter a workshop whose number isn t on it, unless it s an Open Workshop. Open Workshops If you re dissatisfied with a workshop for which you registered, there will be Open Workshops in each time period for you to attend. They ll be listed in the PN Symposium Mobile App and Onsite Guide. Meals Lunches and dinners can t be added to or removed from your registration during the Symposium because we have to order them ahead of time. However, the hotel will provide box lunch items each day. On Friday and Saturday, you re welcome to purchase lunch in our spacious Exhibit Hall, where seating and free Wi-Fi will be provided. There are also many restaurants and eateries within walking distance of the hotel. Symposium Etiquette: Perfume, After-Shave, and Cell Phones Some attendees are allergic to scents, so please don t wear them during the day. Please turn off your cell phones before entering Symposium workshops and events.
