Epilepsy Queensland took their Understanding Epilepsy and Administration of Midazolam to Roma this month. School teachers, parents of children with epilepsy, nurses, as well as some allied health professionals all found the training beneficial. The services team from EQI was delighted to be in Roma again, meeting up with some members and also enjoying the hospitality of the Maranoa region. We will be visiting Cairns, Rockhampton, and Townsville in the coming months. Don t miss out on attending a workshop, click a button below to download your registration form now... Please click here for more information on upcoming EQI events across Queensland. Up for a challenge? Recently a number of people went the extra mile literally 3

to support Epilepsy Queensland. Through the City2South Run in Brisbane and the Ironman Cairns, we were honoured to be the beneficiary of their fundraising endeavours leading up to their events. A huge thank you to Angela who travelled to Cairns to compete in a half Ironman Triathlon. The proud Toowoomba Mum of 8 year old Meg not only finished a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and 21.1km run, but also managed to smash her goal of raising $10,000 through her everyday hero fundraising page. Did you know that most events like the Bridge to Brisbane, City2South, Gabba Stampede, Colour Run etc, allow you to choose the charity you want to fundraise for?
