Public Data: Public data means the data has already been collected and analyzed, and can be viewed online in a table, report, or other format. This data may be provided as a raw number, a percentage, or a rate of a population. Data Sources: A data source is an entity that provides information that has been systematically collected, for example from administrative records, surveillance systems, or surveys. Indicators: An indicator is a documentable or measureable piece of information, from a data source, regarding some aspect of the program/strategy being evaluated.
