Literature review: Dr. Galit Talmor Galit Talmor, D.M.D., M.Sc., graduated from the Dental Faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel on 2003. Dr. Talmor is a faculty member at the Ronald E. Goldstein Center for Aesthetic Dentistry - Prosthodontics Department at the Hadassah Medical Campus, Faculty of Dental Medicine under the leadership of Prof. Nitzan Bichacho. Dr. Talmor joined the Bichacho clinic in Tel Aviv in 2005, and since then she focuses on prosthetic treatments with aesthetic orientation, mainly adhesive restorative treatments with special emphasis on direct complex restorations. Dr. Talmor shares her profound experience gained in her everyday work and knowledge updated in conventions and courses in the field of prosthetic and restorative dentistry through lectures and hands on workshops, especially dealing with direct and indirect composite restorations. He joined the Oral Rehabilitation Department in Tel Aviv School of dentistry as a staff member until the year 2000. Over 2 decades ago Dr. Fuhrer established a private dental clinic in Tel Aviv, practicing a unique multidisciplinary approach towards rehabilitation and reconstructive dentistry. Dr Fuhrer is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). Panel: Dr. Shifra Levartovsky Dr. Shifra Levartovsky earned her DMD degree from the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, in 1984. Dr. Levartovsky graduated the Post-Graduate Program in Prosthodontics (1994, with honors) and the Implant Fellowship Program (1995) at the College of Dentistry, New-York University, New-York, USA. Dr. Levartovsky became later board certified in prosthodontics in Israel and she is, currently, the director of the Graduate Program in Prosthodontics at the School of Dental Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Tel-Aviv, Israel. She has published and lectures on dental implants and prosthodontics subjects. Dr. Levartovsky is the Past- President of the Israel Society of Prosthodontics and maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and implant surgery.
Panel: Dr. Yuval Jacoby Co-founded the Ronald E. Goldstein Center for Aesthetic Dentistry at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, where he graduated in 1984. He is the inventor or co-inventor of innovative devices and technologies in the fields of dental implantology, innovative materials and others. His private practice in Tel-Aviv is focused on esthetics-emphasized implant and prosthetic dentistry. Panel: Dr. Jaron Blasbalg Dr. Jaron Blasbalg, oral rehabilitation specialist. Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 1999. After graduation, he was one of the staff for Restorative Dentistry Department at Tel Aviv University, and then as instructor for the Department of Prosthodontics at the same institution. Completed his residency program in oral rehabilitation in 2008 and currently serves as an instructor in the Prosthodontics post graduate program at Tel Aviv University. Moderator: Prof. Nitzan Bichacho Prof. Bichacho is a Life Member and past President of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He also serves as Scientific Editor and as an editorial board member of several international publications. Professor Bichacho has been publishing and lecturing worldwide in the fields of dental implant therapy, fixed prosthodontics, and innovative treatment modalities in aesthetic dentistry. He is also the conceptor and inventor of several clinical techniques and dental implant products, widely used the world over. His private practice in Tel Aviv is focused on interdisciplinary treatments, where he collaborates with multinational colleagues and dental technicians.
Moderator: Dr. Devorah Schwartz-Arad Dr. Devorah Schwartz-Arad received her DMD and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem/Israel. She is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was the senior lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Maurice and Gabriela Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine, Tel Aviv University until 2008. Dr. Schwartz-Arad s research focuses on immediate dental implantation, bone augmentation procedures for dental implants, the influence of smoking on the success of dental implants, and the impact of anxiety on the recovery process of patients. Dr. Schwartz-Arad is a member of the Specialty Examination Board for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, nominated by the Israel Dental Association Scientific Council, Israel. She is the author & the co-author of invited reviews. She has also published numerous scientific articles and abstracts. She has presented more than 100 papers at scientific meetings and international academic conferences in Israel, Europe and the United-States. She has been awarded several academic and professional awards, including by the Israeli Academy of Sciences and the Israel Cancer Association. Dr. Schwartz-Arad is the author and editor of the book "Ridge preservation & immediate implantation" published by Quintessence in 2012. Dr. Schwartz-Arad is the owner and senior surgeon of Schwartz-Arad Day-Care Surgical Center, Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Advanced Implantology, Periodontology & Endodontology, Ramat-Hasharon, Israel. Dr. Schwartz-Arad is also an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).
