11th Annual American Cancer Society Pan Ohio Hope Ride SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES JULY 27-30, 2017 PANOHIOHOPERIDE.ORG 1.888.227.6446 EXT. 1222

328 miles. Cincinnati. Columbus. Cleveland. WHAT IS THE PAN OHIO HOPE RIDE? The Pan Ohio Hope Ride is a noncompetitive, one-, two-, or four-day, multi-stage cycling event starting at the American Cancer Society Musekamp Family Hope Lodge residence in Cincinnati and ending near the American Cancer Society Joseph S. and Jeannette M. Silber Hope Lodge residence in Cleveland. Participants can ride as an individual or as part of a team. Riders of all levels are encouraged to join. In 2016, the Pan Ohio Hope Ride raised more than $936,000 to save lives from cancer. Since its inception in 2007, our unique statewide event has raised more than $6 million, and in 2017 it is expected to surpass the $7 million milestone. We could never have afforded to stay in town while my husband was receiving treatment. Having a safe place to call home was a huge factor in how well my husband recovered. WHAT IS THE HOPE LODGE PROGRAM? The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program provides free overnight lodging to cancer patients and their caregivers who have to travel far from home for treatment. The program allows guests to focus on the most important thing getting well without having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for it. This caregiver tells how the Hope Lodge program provided peace of mind during her husband's treatment. More than just a place to stay, the program offers a home-like, nurturing environment where patients and their caregivers can find support among staff, volunteers, and other residents going through a similar experience. Ohio is home to two of 32 American Cancer Society Hope Lodge communities across the US. Your support of events like our Pan Ohio Hope Ride helps make these communities possible.

Partner with us to save lives from cancer. Why should you sponsor the Pan Ohio Hope Ride? CANCER AFFECTS EVERYONE. Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the US, accounting for nearly one of every four deaths. In the US, more than 1.6 million people were expected to be diagnosed with cancer in 2016, and more than 595,000 people were expected to die from the disease. In 2016, an estimated 66,020 Ohioans were expected to be diagnosed with cancer, and 25,510 residents are expected to die from the disease.* *American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2016. ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH A RESPECTED BRAND. The American Cancer Society is a highly trusted source for cancer information, having played a part in nearly every major cancer breakthrough in the last century. The American Cancer Society has 96 percent aided brand awareness among consumers.* *American Cancer Society Market Research: 2016 Brand Tracker. ACHIEVE MORE WITH THE PAN OHIO HOPE RIDE. The two Ohio-based Hope Lodge communities (Cleveland and Cincinnati) have provided more than 9,000 nights of free lodging (through August 2016), saving patients and their families an estimated $1.6 million in lodging costs. Funds raised through the Pan Ohio Hope Ride support American Cancer Society programs and services, and participation provides team-building opportunities, as well as strengthens awareness of health and wellness. Participants come from every corner of the globe, including 26 US states and four countries. Riders are passionate about the American Cancer Society, creating a powerful co-branding opportunity. PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS THROUGH CYCLING. Cycling has quickly become one of the fastest-growing activities in the US and is the second most popular form of fitness. Total US Cyclists: 66.7 MILLION Male/Female (Adults): 57%/43% Median Household Income: $60,000+ College Graduates: 70%* *Statista, PeopleforBikes. Living four hours from Cleveland, it would have been impossible to drive back and forth for treatment. The financial burden of staying in a hotel would have been unimaginable. I really don't know what we would have done without the opportunity to stay at Hope Lodge! Hope Lodge Guest

YOUR Your contribution CONTRIBUTION can help CAN save HELP lives. SAVE LIVES Your support enables us to help those touched by cancer and continue our lifesaving mission in so many ways. You may not know all the American Cancer Society is doing, thanks to our generous donors. OUR VISION IS A WORLD FREE FROM THE PAIN AND SUFFERING OF CANCER. OUR PURPOSE IS TO ACHIEVE IT. We re doing everything in our power to prevent cancer. We promote healthy lifestyles by issuing cancer guidelines for early detection, helping people avoid tobacco, and reducing barriers to healthy eating and exercise. If you are diagnosed, we re there for you. Every step of the way. Whether it s providing emotional support, the latest cancer information, or a home away from home when treatment is far away, we re there when you need us. We help you stay healthy and thrive after treatment. We research ways for survivors to not only live longer, but live better. And we offer information and tools for staying healthy, both physically and emotionally. Cancer is a worthy opponent, to say the least. It has a formidable nature, a resourceful manner, and a destructive appetite. But, cancer will never have what we have humanity, made up of courage, determination, innovation, passion, empathy, and caring. These are the values of humanity that are giving us the advantage over cancer. With your support, we will save more lives than ever before. Together, we are stronger than cancer. We are here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-227-2345 and cancer.org offering comprehensive information about cancer and related services that help patients and their loved ones make informed decisions about their care.
