Alben, Department of Physiological Chemistry, Ohio State University, Primary projects were the isolation and characteristics of the tyrosinase isoenzymes. One year between my second and third years of medical school working with Dr. Jay Stein and Dr. Thomas Ferris of the Division of Renal Diseases at Ohio State University. My research interests dealt with the effects of certain pharmacologic agents and physiological manipulations on the distribution of the cortical renal blood flow. These studies were performed using the radioactive microsphere technique.
