What is a DO? Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. They practice healthcare differently. DOs emphasize a whole-patient approach to treatment and care and are trained to promote the body s natural tendency toward health and self-healing.
