Is there a role for Supplements in Sport? There is no such anything as zero risk. Professional sportspersons Recovery, CHO, protein, creatine School Rarely (recovery); emphasise sound nutritional & training principles No sponsorships / road shows Not sold at schools Regulation, quality control (internal & 3 rd party), individualization, professional advice. In the absence of govt regulation, truly independent 3 rd party testing probably provides the next most appropriate form of regulation (but not foolproof!); 1 step only!
