COURSE DESCRIPTION Up dates in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine: Just Do It! lung diseases and related co-morbidities, and treatment approaches of pulmonary and critical care disorders. Case presentations and individual sessions will be provided to the medical community. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES At the conclusion of the course participants will be able to: Outline a multi-disciplinary approach to diagnosis and medical/surgical management of lung cancer. Identify the role of interventional bronchoscopy in pulmonary disease. Distinguish and establish a diagnosis of shock in critically ill patient with bedside ultrasound. Outline a diagnostic and management approach of pulmonary embolic disease. asthma. TARGET AUDIENCE pulmonary medicine, nurses, physician assistants, respiratory therapists and other allied healthcare professionals interested in pulmonary medicine. Accreditation Statement Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
