This year s GACS Convention will be alive with change. The convention committee, chaired by Clint Hancock (Jet Foods), is excited to announce a new-member, Focus in Five event on Sunday afternoon, and a par is your friend golf event. Also this year, instead of fishing we ll be enjoying a ¾-mile-long zipline, and of course, we ll be inviting legislators and regulators. In addition, the GACS Board of Directors along with GTEC (Georgia Tank & Equipment Contractors Association) have voted to hold a crossover convention. This schedule will allow members of both associations to attend ALL of the meal and educational functions for a full registration fee of $295 and a crossover fee of. For those attendees that are members of both groups, this is a substantial savings. For those of you that don t get the opportunity to participate in both conventions, this provides a chance to experience both at a reduced rate. The chart in this brochure provides a short breakdown of registration options and GACS members can easily register online for any and all events. We hope members of both associations will find this to be a valuable new adventure! You can walk or take the shuttle down to the club house and enjoy this par-70 Donald Ross course framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains. Ziplining Join us on a canopy adventure to Navitat. Choose from two options: the Moody Cove Course, which combines ziplining, repelling, and sky bridges or the Blue Ridge Course, featuring three zip lines ranging in length from 1100 3600 ft. Participants must meet certain physical requirements, including aged 10 years or older and weighing 90-250 lbs, and sign liability waiver. Additional details are provided online at registration.
