Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy I- PT6: This course provides demonstration and practice of the evaluative and fundamental physical management procedures used in musculoskeletal conditions affecting extremities. Musculoskeletal disorders, injuries, and surgical conditions will be covered. Clinical Practice I PT7: Supervised clinical experience to the management of patients with peripheral musculoskeletal conditions in physical therapy departments and orthopedic wards. Physical therapy evaluation, setting treatment goals and plan, and application of suitable modalities of therapeutic exercises and electrophysical agents will be emphasized.
Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy II- PT6: This course is continuation for MSPT 6 (Musculoskeletal PT I). Physical therapy of diseases, injuries, and surgical of the musculoskeletal system affecting the spine will be emphasized. This course also describes spinal traction, and introduction to spinal mobilization. Clinical Practice II- PT8: Supervised clinical experience in evaluation and management of patients with medical and surgical spinal musculoskeletal conditions encountered by physical therapists. Clinical experience in the management of cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic conditions, in different clinical settings, will also be provided.
