Group Fitness Class Descriptions 2/17/18 Forever Young Fitness 3-2-1 Kettlebell Interval: this workout consist of 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute of core. Each segment will give you the intensity needed to get maximum results in a short amount of time! AB Attack: Don t let the name scare you! AB ATTACK is a great way to strengthen, tone and define your core - the areas we all need to improve! Athletic Training: In this small group training class INTENSITY meets MOBILITY. Each phase of functional performance uses dynamic postures, complex lifts, plyometric sequences, and a combination of strength, balance, and agility exercises to make you stronger. FYF-Balance, Strength, Stretch: Learn how to strengthen your body and reduce the risk of falling by improving your ability to control and maintain your body s position whether you are moving or still this class counteracts the effects of aging by enhancing your balance, sharpening your reflexes and building lean muscle mass. FYF-Beginner Yoga: New to Yoga? Have limitations? This class utilizes modifications to accommodate all levels. Increase strength, balance, and flexibility through standing, seated and balancing postures. Chairs, and props will be used for yoga poses. Each class will end with relaxation. Boot Camp: Do you want a sculpted lean, athletic-looking body and be the best shape in your life? Do you want to get fitter, leaner, and stronger? Prepare to chisel and sizzle: Your about to turn up the heat in this Boot Camp Workout. Modifications are always offered. Butt & Guts: An interval workout consisting of exercises designed to target and tone your lower body and entire core. Hips, thighs, butt and core sculpting moves combined with bursts of cardio that will get your heart pumping. Cardio Dance: Get up and Go with a dance class that s safe, and gentle on your joints. Dance exercise is an easy-to-follow aerobic activity that burns calories, works the heart muscle and is appropriate for any age and level of fitness. Have fun, and get some exercise in! Cardio Fit and Tone: This full body workout combines cardio with toning/sculpting exercises. Designed to get your heart rate pumping, maximize your workout and achieve the results you are looking for! Complete Core and Strength: Reap the benefits of this type of training by choosing a variety of functional tools and selecting the right exercise and training variables that will help you achieve major health and fitness goals as you become stronger. Core Fit: Learn how to strengthen your powerhouse your legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back! Improve balance posture and flexibility. Class will include use of straps, foam rollers and pilates rings. FYF-Fit-4-Ever: All the basics of lifting weights, cardio, flexibility and core for older adults. No high intensity in this class! Class uses tubes, hand weights, body bars and more! Classes are designed to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility and strength. Foam Rolling, Recover Release: If you haven t hopped on the foam roller yet, it s time to give it a try. Foam rolling is a form of self-message and self-myofascial release. It loosens muscle tightness, imbalances and trigger points that occur when the contracted muscle fails to release. Functional Fitness: Train and develop your muscles to make it easier to perform everyday activities you might do at home or work. This low impact joint friendly class will help build muscle mass, and increase flexibility.

Gentle Yoga: a practice for all levels that helps to promote balance, strength, and relaxation, through mind/body connection. A series of poses helping to loosen joints and get the blood flowing. There will always be modifications, breathing & relaxation techniques for all levels of your practice. Good Morning Yoga: Start your day with a flowing series of Sun Salutation poses to boost your metabolism, build strength and flexibility! Class ends with a peaceful meditation. Group Cycle: Burn up to 500 calories combining endurance and strength rides. Whether you are training for a triathlon or riding for cardiovascular health, this class is sure to get your there. Hatha Yoga: Learn the flow of yoga to experience better flexibility and strength. Relieve stress and calm the mind with deep-breathing and relaxation techniques. Kickbox Jam: 40 minutes of cardio kickboxing followed by 20 minutes of strength training and core exercises to define muscles an increase calorie burn. Lift & Tone: Improve strength & build lean muscle mass to define every major muscle group while utilizing a variety of equipment. Piloxing : Combine pilates and boxing moves into a fat burning, muscle toning core interval workout. The use of weighted gloves adds resistance to enhance your workout! Strong by Zumba : A high intensity interval training boot camp that combines cardio, plyometric training, and body weight exercises to improve strength and conditioning. This class will push you past your plateaus to help reach your fitness goals. Sunday AM Workout: a combination of heart pumping cardio and intense strength training. Each week both the format and the equipment will change to make for increased calorie burn for a total body workout! Tabata Xpress: 30 minutes of heart pumping, body sculpting interval training guaranteed to help boost your metabolism and get you results FAST.

Tabata Boot Camp: There s a reason why HIIT is HOT, and Tabata Boot Camp is the new Hit! Workouts are short and designed to boost the calorie burn so your metabolism keeps burning more calories long after exercise is over! Zumba Intense: How intense is Zumba? As intense as you want it to be! Join us for some explosive movement and effective results! Burn roughly 600 calories in an hour! Good things are going to happen! Zumba Toning: This workout combines toning with traditional Zumba dance movements. Light weights are incorporated to tone and engage your muscles while giving you the cardio benefits at the same time. AQUA CLASSES Aqua Arthritis: This program is geared for individuals with mobility challenges such as arthritis, joint injuries, or past surgeries. Class will consist of low intensity exercises emphasizing range of motion in the warm water pool. Aqua Blast: Tone and sculpt your body with no impact on your joints. This deep water aerobic class is a blend of cardio and resistance training. Water weights, noodles, and flotation belts are provided. Aqua Boot Camp: A Boot Camp style interval workout that will get your heart pumping and leave your muscles aching for more! A high intensity class utilizing water resistance, using equipment and powerful movements for a great cardio workout! Aqua Interval: A fast paced combination of cardio and strength with focus on heart rate and endurance. Great for all Fitness Levels! Aqua Tai Chi: Enjoy the warm water in this flowing yet powerful progression and relaxing class. The water provides gentle resistance to movement which eases strain on tender joints and gently develops muscle strength to help improper posture and balance. Aqua Zumba : Blends the Zumba philosophy with water resistance. Less impact on your joints so you can really let loose! Deep Water Deep Run/Conditioning: Suspended by a flotation belt, perfect your core strength and posture in this fun and challenging class! Use pool noodles and water weights to strengthen your muscles while you walk, jog, or jump your way to a healthier you! Hydro Running: is a form of running in deep water wearing a flotation belt (provided), and no swimming skills are necessary. This is a high intensity water running class that provides a total body workout with no impact on your joints. Warm Water Fusion: A lighter approach to cardio conditioning and strength using the buoyance and resistance in the warm water. Warm Water Therapy: Are you recovering from an injury or living with chronic medical conditions? The warm water will eliminate any pounding pressure on your joints while focusing on strengthening areas of weakness and increasing mobility.
