Interdisciplinary teams, composed of members of the different Health Sciences schools, are assigned an elderly client to visit for the year. As Operations Director of BCW, I managed the communication, relations and logistics for 100 volunteers and 15 clients. As a volunteer nutrition instructor for Operation Frontline, I helped coordinate and teach cooking classes in low income communities. I am working to create, implement, and evaluate a new module on falls risk, assessment and prevention. Designing Clinical Research Course for Residents, Participant, October 2013 This month long course guides students through the essential components of writing a clinical research protocol as well as teaches study design, data analysis and management, sample size calculations, and power calculations.
