Nonetheless, over a decade of experience gathered through the use of FIX-A-TOX in large-scale animal husbandry operations with massive mycotoxins problems can be regarded as a long-term study. Since there has never been even the faintest evidence of avitaminosis, one can draw a scientifically valid conclusion that no significant nutritional-physiological binding of vitamins occurs. Due to its aluminosilicate structure, any irreversible adsorption of trace elements can be excluded. These remain freely available to animal at any time. Conclusion of Prof. Dr. sc. Achim Strey First of all, the results generally confirm the good capability of binding mycotoxines conceded to FIX-A-TOX. The strongest absorption has been observed with the Aflatoxins. Regardless the ph-values and how long they were exposed to FIX-A-TOX, the absorption of all the Aflatoxins was nearly quantitative (between 89 and 100%). All in all it can be concluded from this pilot test that FIX-A-TOX has a good to excellent potential for absorption of mycotoxines. Especially the effect on Aflatoxines is of eminent importance. page 4 of 7
