Our specialist caseworkers can support you in your chosen caring role; making sure that your own needs are recognised. Our caseworkers can offer 1:1 support, as well as support over the phone, in a variety of community languages. We can also organise the use of a translator if necessary. Page 2

They have a range of different sessions and courses for the Bangladeshi community. They offer drop-in sessions that are held Monday to Friday 9.00am-3.00pm. Page 8

They also offer a mental health project that can help in two ways: Drop-in sessions these are held at the Philip J. Davies Centre on Holland Road. A meal is provided at each session and they give carers the chance to receive and give support, socialise and get involved in outings and events. They are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5.30pm-8.30pm. Individual support workers offer one-to-one advice on managing appointments, help with daily living, social skills and budgeting and benefits advice. Page 9

First Asian Support Trust (FAST) Specialises in providing support for disabled Asian people and their carers. All their services are open to people who live in the Greater Manchester area.
