They liked the sweet taste of royal princesses, and the delicious crispy crunch of brave knights. But in Nogard there was a dragon that was different. He was a vegetarian and he had a vegetable patch where he grew tomatoes, leeks, lettuces, cauliflowers, peas, carrots The knights of Nogard decided to capture the dragons because they were fed up with them. They went to hunt them and they sang: We ll singe them, fry them Boil them in a pot Stew them, steam them The whole juicy lot!. The Green Dragon was pulling some herbs up when the knights captured him with a net and a rope. The people of Nogard decided to kill the Green Dragon but then a little girl said he had never eaten a single person and that it wouldn t be right to kill him. Then Meathook was captured as well. The Royal Family wanted to kill the leader of the dragons and set the Green Dragon free but then Green Dragon suggested showing the meateating dragons how to take care of a vegetable patch. They could all live in peace if he taught the rest a new way of doing things. The Royal Family agreed and they lived happily ever after.
