Aquamimicry (2.0) Shrimp Farming Protocol Fermented Rice Bran and Aquamimicry Fermented Soya (AFSy 2.0) CONDITIONS: Intensive Culture with High Aeration Pond Size : One Hectare (HA) Stocking density : 30 150 pcs per sqm Salinity : 3-40 ppt Culture species : L. vannamei AGED POND: (Updated July 12, 2017) Ø Analyzes the ph of your pond bottom soil (Min. of 20-30 cm depth) in soak wet soil. Ø Check the soil ph (Lower soil ph is an indicator of high organic waste accumulated) Ø Randomize the soil sample throughout pond, especially around the sludge area. FIRST STEP (Day 1-3) RESTORES AGED POND PROBLEMS: Ø DO NOT apply any DISINFECTANT or treat the pond with any TOXIC chemical. Ø Pump the water into pond through 200 300 mesh bag filtration. Ø Fill up the pond water with maximum 50-60 cm (Lower depth provide better result) - Soil ph is at neutral 7.0 : Apply 6 bottles of Red Cap (RC). - Soil ph is between 6.0-6.9 : Apply 12 bottles of Red Cap (RC). - Soil ph is between 5.0-5.9 : Apply 18 bottles of Red Cap (RC). - Soil ph is between 4.0-4.9 : Apply 24 bottles of Red Cap (RC). - Soil ph is lower than 3.9 : Consult your local Aquamimicry s representative. Heavily *chain dragging for the first 48-72 hours throughout the pond is required. Once the chaining is stopped for rest. Aerates the pond provides higher efficiency. SECOND STEP (Day 4-7) Creates natural feed (fill up the pond till 60-80 cm): Ø Apply 120-160 kg (20 ppm) of Tea Seed Cake to eliminate the small fish (If any). Ø Apply 600-800 kg (100 ppm) of ***GRINDED rice bran (RB), without any husk or broken rice along with 3 bottle of White Cap (WC). Ø Higher dosages of ***GRINDED rice bran (100 ppm ++), enhances more rotifers, copepods and invertebrates development. Suitable for high aeration system only. Ø Continuously high aeration is needed during the start up, enhances the massive bloom of copepods as natural feed. Ø *Chain dragging throughout the pond on daily basis (At least 2-4 hours per day) will greatly reduce the biofilm development. ***GRINDED rice bran is ultra fine powder (not crumble). * Chain weight : At least 30 kg in weight is required. 1

THIRD STEP (Day 7-14) BEFORE STOCKING: Ø Slowly fill up the pond water to 80 100 cm Ø Apply Liquid Fermented Rice Bran (LFRB) daily between 10 ppm (80 100 kg of rice bran dry weight) or until the turbidity reaches 25-40 cm. Preferably at 25-30 cm. Ø Check for the density of zooplankton, invertebrates and biocolloids. - Rotifers, copepods, zooplankton, diatoms and bloodworms are preferably. Ø Decides stocking date. Ø Continues aerate the system and maintain morning DO >5 ppm prior to stocking. Ø ph should be within the range of 7.6 to 80 Ø *Chain dragging throughout the pond will greatly reduce the biofilm development. READY FOR STOCKING: Ø Select good healthy pl6-8 for stocking. Ø STRESS test (ph and Salinity) for 30 minutes or more in fresh water. Ø Antibiotics free post larvae are preferably. Ø Acclimatizes the temperature, ph and salinity properly (at least for 30 minutes). Ø Rotifers and Copepods are in sufficient densities to provide natural feed for pl6-8. AFTER STOCKING and MAINTAINS THROUGHOUT THE CYCLE: Ø Maintains Liquid Fermented Rice Bran (LFRB) daily between 1-5 ppm (calculate base on pond capacity) depends on the pond turbidity. Preferably at 20-30 cm. If the turbidity is higher than 10-20 cm, reduce the amount of LFRB. If the turbidity is lower than 30-40 cm, increase the amount of LFRB and Yellow Cap (YC). Ø Turbidity (Biocolloids) should not be less than 30 cm throughout the cycle. Ø Daily check for early morning and late noon. - Make sure the ph are not fluctuate more than 0.2 log with max of 0.3 log throughout day and night. Most preferably at 0.0-0.1 log. Ø Dissolve oxygen (D.O) should be maintain at least 5 ppm during late night and should not exceed 10 ppm during the day time. Between 5 8 ppm is most preferably. Ø Divides the LFRB solution for 1-2 times per day (early morning and afternoon), dilute with pond water and slowly widespread the LFRB throughout the pond if possible. Ø Apply Green Cap (GC) 2-4 bot monthly, will help reduce the over built up of sludge. Apply during night time with full aeration is preferably. Ø Apply Yellow Cap (YC) 2-4 bot monthly, will help to increase and maintains stability of biocolloids in situ. Apply with LFRB during day time with full aeration is preferably. Ø If observed any depletion in dissolved oxygen, immediately stop adding LFRB. Fully aerate the system and apply Green Cap (GC) @ 75 to 150 gram/ha. - *Chain dragging (slowly) around the feeding zone for the first 15 days after stocking is still preferably (20% of total area/day). - Avoid *chain dragging around the center of the pond. Apply Green Cap (GC) before chain dragging will help to degrade the precipitated organic wastes at much faster rate. 2

SET UP : Preparation of Liquid Fermented Rice Bran (LFRB) for biocolloids development and balances pond ph during the cycle. Base on DRY WEIGHT Ø Set up the facilities to start fermentation process. Ø Select husk-free rice bran and GRIND THEM INTO POWDERY ULTRA FINE (NOT CRUMBLE) prior to fermentation for at least 24 hours. Ø Liquid Fermentation (LFRB) : Mixing 10:1 ratio (10 lt of water + 1 kg) of *** GRINDED rice bran (RB),. Ø Add 1-3% of salt if fresh water is being used (depends on pond salinity). Ø Dissolves 1-2 gm of White Cap (WC) with 50 liter of water, suitable for 5 kg of rice bran. Higher dosage rate of White Cap (WC) will provide faster results. Ø Add 3% of NaHCO3 (sodium bicarbonate) for ph buffering base on water used. Ø Make sure to maintain the ph of LFRB at nearest to 6.0-7.0 at all time. Ø No aeration is required for this process, but need to mix thoroughly by manually. Ø *** GRINDED rice bran (RB), should be used for making LFRB or otherwise apply 100 mesh filter bag to remove large particles out of the pond. Precipitation of large particles of broken rice and bran can cause the bottom black and biofilm formation. Ø Never use any mold or sour odor smelled LFRB. Red Cap (RC) Green Cap (GC) Yellow Cap (YC) White Cap (WC) Bio-rehabilitations Restores Aged Pond 6 to 24 bottles Min 2-4 bot/month Min 2-4 bot/month, 1 g / 5 kg Soya 3 bottle for Copepods 1-2 g / 5 kg Rice bran 1-2 g / 5 kg Soya 1-2 g / 1 kg APC 3

APPLY AQUAMIMICRY FERMENTED Soya 2.0 (AFSy 2.0) FOR FASTER GROWTH. After 5 days of stocking: Apply sieved AFSy 2.0 1 kg per 100,000 pl per day in feed tray. Use SEIVED soya when shrimp average body weight are less than 1 gram. Feeding rate: Base on soya DRY WEIGHT. - 5% > 4% for 1-5 gram of shrimp body weight. - 4% > 3% for 5-10 gram of shrimp body weight. - 3% > 2% for 10-20 gram of shrimp body weight. - 2% > 1% for 20-30 gram of shrimp body weight. - Divides the total AFSy 2.0 and feeding at least 3-4 times per DAY. - Feed tray sample at 1-2% is most preferably, minimum 3 trays per Ha. Preparation of Amino Peptide Concentrated (APC), Liquid form : Solution (A) Ø Fill up the container with 100 liter of water (Chlorine free). Ø Dissolves 7-8 kg of NaHCO 3 (sodium bicarbonate) into 100 liter of water. Ø Add 1-3% of salt if fresh water is being used (i.e. 2% is 20 ppt of pond water). Ø Dissolves 20-40 gram of White Cap (WC) (i.e. 1-2 gram per 1 kg of soya). - Higher dosage rate of White Cap (WC) will provide faster results. Ø Add 20 kilogram of grounded soya powder. (Soya Grit or Dehulled Soya). Ø Make sure the ph of APC maintain at 6.5-7.5 at all time. Ø Fermentation process minimum of 5-7 days are required. Ø Stir well the solution daily by manually. Ø Cover up the container / bucket with any suitable material and keep in warm place. Ø No aeration is required for this process. Ø After completion (5-7 days), the smell of APC shall be pungent of strong salted fish. Ø The APC solution can be kept for two-fours weeks prior to use. Preparation of Aquamimicry Fermented Soya (AFSy 2.0), solid form : Solution (B) Ø Mixing 1.4 : 1 ratio, 1.4 liter of water required for 1 kg of Soya. (80%-90% Soya Grit or Deoiled and 10%-20% Full Fatted Soya). Ø Fill up the container with water requirement and dissolves 1-3% of sea salt if fresh water is being used (i.e. 2% is 20 ppt of pond water), quantity is base on water used. Ø Dissolves 3% of NaHCO 3 (sodium bicarbonate) base on substrates to be fermented. (Example : 5 kg of soya grit will require 150 grams of NaHCO 3 (sodium bicarbonate). Ø Add 10% of Solution A (APC), as above preparation into the mixture. Ø Dissolves 1 gm of White Cap (WC) along with 1 gram of Yellow Cap (YC), suitable for 5 kg of soya. Ø Add the amount of Soya requirement and mix thoroughly. Ø Cover up the tray / bucket with any suitable material and keep in warm place. Ø Make sure the ph of fermented soya maintain at 6.8-7.2 at all time. Ø Fermentation process minimum of 12-24 hours are required. Ø Natural guar gum at 1% can be used as blinder prior to feed. Ø Never use any mold, acid or soured fermented soya to feed shrimp. 4

Please note. Ø Amino acid and micro minerals, can also be added during the fermentation. Ø If Amino Peptide Concentrate APC (Solution A) does not produce any pungent smell within 5-7 days, you are probably not following the protocol with White Cap (WC). Ø Makes sure the ph is well balanced (completely steady) during day and night. If pond water becomes dark green, apply more LFRB with Yellow Cap (YC) and Green Cap (GC) to balances the pond system. PRECAUTIONS: - If found afternoon D.O. is above 10 ppm, is an indicator of phytoplankton bloom. - If ph fluctuates during the day and night, is an indicator of phytoplankton bloom. More LFRB and 1 bottle of Yellow Cap (YC) are needed to balances the pond system. - Keep pond bottom as clean as possible at all time by applying Green Cap (GC). - Chain or Boat Rope dragging during the pond preparation and continuously 20% around the feeding zone per day until the first 15 days after stocking is preferably. Apply Green Cap (GC) before chain dragging will also help to degrade the wastes. - During the cycle (after DOC 15), do not chain or rope drag and disturb the center of the pond or where sludge settled. - Pond water should be kept at approximate 1 meter depth during the first 30 days with maximum of 1-1.5 meter (larger shrimp) for better D.O. and temperature exchanges. - Corner edge and dyke of the pond should always be free of black biofilm and filamentous algae at all time. 5
