SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES 4.1. Description of first aid measures Inhalation Move injured person into fresh air and keep person calm under observation. If uncomfortable: Seek hospital and bring these instructions. Ingestion DO NOT induce vomiting if swallowed chemical is dissolved in petroleum-based material. Danger of aspiration and development of chemical pneumonia. Promptly get affected person to drink large volumes of water to dilute the swallowed chemical. Give milk instead of water if readily available. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues. Skin contact Promptly wash contaminated skin with soap or mild detergent and water. Promptly remove clothing if soaked through and wash as above. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing. Eye contact Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes.
