ABOUT THE ARC The Arc is the nation s oldest and largest organization for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). For more than 65 years, we have offered strong advocacy, innovative programs and services, and valuable information to people with I/DD and their families. We also offer training, networking, and professional development opportunities for leaders in the sector and from across our national network of 643 chapters, which serve and support more than one million people with I/DD and their families. We work with our partners in the public and private sectors to promote and protect the human rights of people with I/DD, and actively support their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lives.
