Borderline personality disorder, often misdiagnosed, is a pervasive pattern of instability in interpersonal relationships. Triggered by biological (brain) and environmental factors, it is treatable by a combination of medications and therapy dialectical behavioral therapy is prominent. Yet few mental health professionals are qualified to treat BPD. If you suspect your loved one has BPD, Stop Walking on Eggshells is a must read.
