Part-time work as a Clinical Psychologist specialising in sex therapy. Lecturer on human sexuality to medical students at the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney. Lecturer at numerous academic and professional conferences including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Monash University Medical Faculty, Australian Federation of Family Planning Association, the Australian Psychological Society, The NSW Institute of Psychiatry, World Organisation of General Practitioners and so on. Frequent appearances on Australian national television and radio. 1976-1986, 1996-2004

Member of the Council of the Australian National University. 1981-1986 Feature writer for Australian Consolidated Press, wrote numerous cover stories for The Bulletin magazine, and stories for Australian Women's Weekly and Cleo magazine on social and gender issues, the changing nature of marital and personal relationships.
