NADI Continuing Professional Development Series: 4 th DIABETIC FOOT SYMPOSIUM/WORKSHOP & TRADE EXHIBITION Beginning this year, The National Diabetes Institute (NADI) will be organising a two and a half days Diabetic Foot Symposium/Workshop & Trade Exhibition. This is the fourth in the series of Diabetic Foot based on participants request to focus on this important aspect of diabetes care. Objectives of the Diabetic Foot Symposium/Workshop & Trade Exhibition The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Series as Diabetic Foot Symposium/Workshop & Trade Exhibition aims to help in the improvement, prevention and management of diabetic foot problems with emphasis on up-to-date and practical aspects of care of diabetic foot. Participants are expected to be able to: appreciate recent advances and practical aspects of diabetes foot care. understand ways of ensuring early diagnosis and optimal management of problems associated with the diabetic foot. apply knowledge gained during the Symposium & Workshop to further improve care for persons with diabetes in the community especially in relation to prevention and management of the diabetic foot. appreciate new and novel therapies and treatments in the management of diabetic foot.
