Classic has expanded our relationship with multiple manufacturers including The Chemlogics Group. They have been manufacturing a number of specialty surfactants for us over the years at their Los Angeles area manufacturing facility. We are now able to return to the flexibility and service that you have come to expect from Classic Distributing. All of our high quality surfactants are toll manufactured to our specifications. Chemlogics is owned and managed by a skilled team which includes at least six key people from the old Chemron Corporation. For over 20 years, Chemron was acknowledged as a superior supplier of high quality surfactants for personal care and industrial use. We are now tapping back into that knowledge to continue the tradition of selling high quality surfactants to the industry. It is a good foam stabilizer and builder. Classic LSM is recommended for use in bath and shower products, shampoos and skin cleansers.

Melting Point, C o 60-65 Product available in 50 lbs bags Classic CME is a rapid viscosity builder and foam enhancer. It is an excellent choice in pearlized formulations. It gives lather a creamy texture and soft feel.

It is mild to hair and skin. Classic BW is also compatible in alkaline or acid-balanced surfactant systems. Great for soap, shampoo and conditioner applications.

Classic CAS provides increased foam and stability in combination with alkyl sulfates, alkyl ether sulfates, alkyl-benzene sulfonates and soaps. It is a viscosity builder when formulated with anionic surfactants for liquid soaps and shampoos.

It is stable over a wide ph range with excellent foam and viscosity building with anionics. It can be used in bubble baths, liquid soaps, skin cleansers, shampoos and conditioners.

Classis DSLS is suitable for use in shampoos, bubble baths and other low irritation products. It is recommended that this product be used in finished product formulations with ph ranges from 4 to 7.

Builds viscosity and boosts foam over a broad ph range. Classic CAW is low in free-peroxide and suitable for personal care systems containing dyes.

Foaming properties are stable within a ph range of 5-12. Classic LO provides good viscosity response and foam enhancement for personal care products such as shampoos and shower gels. It is a nonionic surfactant which is compatible with anionic and cationic systems. Because of its foam boosting and viscosity building properties, Classic LO is useful in a variety of products.

It also functions as a bodying agent and emulsion stabilizer in these systems. It can be used in low solids content formulations because it tends to build viscosity.

It offers high foam, high viscosity and good salt response. Its uses include Shampoos, Bubble baths and Bath Gels.

CLASSIC BLEND NAS Chemical Name: Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate 0068815-56-5 Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine 68139-30-0 Cocamidopropyl Betaine 0061789-40-0 Cocamidopropylamine Oxide 0068155-09-9 Appearance @ 25 o C Clear Light Amber Liquid Density 8.5 lbs./gallon ph, (10% aq.): 6.0-8.0 Solids, % 38 min Classic Blend NAS is a proprietary Non-Alcohol Sulfate Blend for shampoo and shower gels. It does not contain DEA or MEA. NAS may be diluted 2:1 with water up to 3:1. Desired viscosity may be obtained with Dermothix 75 Liquid or the thickening agent of your choice.

It is derived from natural coco-fatty acid and glycine. This fatty acid is a component of human skin and stratum corneum. Glycine is the main amino acid of collagen. In Classic SCG both components, fatty acid and glycine, have bonded to each other by a peptide linkage (amide bond) that is ubiquitous in all proteins. This makes SCG the most natural surfactant compared to synthetic surfactants like fatty alcohol (ether) sulphates, sulphosuccinates, sulphonates, isethionates etc. It is an extremely mild surfactant compared to other anionics. It s non-irritant to skin and mucous membrane, hypoallergenic, and fully biodegradable.

CLASSIC PEARL Sodium Laureth Sulfate Glycol Distearate Cocoamide MEA Appearance Pearlized viscous liquid Color White Solids, wt% 35 typical ph (1% solution) 6.5-7.5 Classic Pearl is a cold mix pearlizing concentrate used at 2-4% level in surfactant blends. The combination of Glycol distearate and Cocamide MEA work together to provide more pearlizing effect than EGMS alone.

It yields high foam; gives excellent viscosity response, good detergency and mildness. Its synergism with betaines offers many formulating possibilities.
