Aquaqi Aqua Yoga CLASS DESCRIPTIONS This unique class in our therapy pool combines movements from Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and balance training, and includes a light cardio workout. Join us to improve your range of motion, increase your energy levels, and gain confidence in balance, all within the supportive environment of the pool. All fitness levels welcome. Back Strength 101 Cardio Combo Cardio Kickboxing Core & More Cycle Challenge/ Cycle With Core Deep Yoga Functional Fitness Hatha Yoga High Intensity Training Kettle Bell Workout Mat Pilates CLASS DESCRIPTIONS This class is not only for those who suffer from various back conditions but also for those looking to avoid or minimize the severity of injury. The class will focus on improving the condition of associated joints, increasing the strength and stability of back, abdominal, and hip muscles, while increasing total body flexibility. This class uses high and low impact moves and multiple cardio conditioning tools including the Step, athletic combinations, drills, dance movements and more. Aerobic segment is followed by toning exercises. All levels welcome. Cardio kickboxing is a class for ALL! The class is designed to provide a great cardio workout through the use of kickboxing techniques, core strength training, and various other exercises. Proper kickboxing techniques will be taught along with alternative exercises for all fitness levels. This full body workout focuses specifically on core stabilization throughout the class. Using combination exercises and more than one muscle group at a time, you'll gain strength while maintaining moderate intensity levels! Moderate to high fitness levels. An indoor cycling class that consists of cardio challenges, varying resistance levels, climbs, sprints, and more. This class uses modifications for both the less experienced and the advanced riders. Moderate to high fitness levels are encouraged to attend. (Cycle with Core includes 15 minutes of core work in addition to a 45 minute ride.) Please call ahead to reserve your spot. A challenging class with sun salutations intertwined with vigorous poses, linking breath and movement. Includes back bends, inversions and arm balances. Excellent for developing strength, endurance, flexibility, focus and breath awareness. Join us for a low impact class designed for anyone interested in keeping their body strong! This class combines strength training, aerobic conditioning and stretching that will assist you in improving the quality of your life. Designed especially for low to moderate fitness levels. Senior and beginners are strongly encouraged to attend! The word hatha is a compound of the words ha and tha meaning sun and moon. This class is a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises. It is a good place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga. Poses and sequences are presented in varying levels to accommodate beginning and intermediate students. This class is for those who want to take their workout to the next level. H.I.T. involves plyometrics, speed training, drills, strength training, and much more. This class is recommended for those who have been on a consistent workout program for at least 3 months. The kettlebell is a weight resembling a cannonball with a handle used to perform ballistic exercises combining cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Training with kettlebells allows you to target all main muscle groups. This class is for those at a moderate to advanced fitness level. A non-impact workout, working primarily from the floor, that focuses on skills and techniques designed to improve posture and alignment, strengthen back and abdominal muscles and provide overall core conditioning. Pilates produces long, lean muscles and can help re-train your body to move in more efficient patterns of motion. All fitness levels are welcome. Power Sculpt Serenity/ Gentle Yoga Step 101 Step Stretch 101 Tai Chi Total Body Toning Yoga 101 Yoga Nidra ZUMBA! Sculpt your body from head to toe in this 30 minute strength class. This class is for those at a moderate to advanced fitness level. Learn the basics of yoga at a slower pace. Focus is on basic postures, yogic breathing and proper alignment. Designed for students who are new to yoga as well as more experienced students who want a gentler class. Never taken Step before or need to refresh your basic Step skills? Join us for this basic/beginning Step workout. Geared for the beginner or those who need a lower level Step class. This class uses an elevated platform (the Step), which enables a more vigorous workout than can be achieved in a basic aerobics class. The intensity of the workout can be tailored to individual abilities by inserting or removing risers to increase or decrease the height of the Step. This class includes challenging choreography that will take your Step workout to the next level! All fitness levels welcome. Decrease the risk of injury and aches and pains by increasing your flexibility. This 45 minute class will teach you full body dynamic stretching as well as how to use the stretch straps and foam roller. All fitness and ability levels are welcome. Tai Chi is an "internal" martial art in which strength and balance are developed from the core outward. Practiced for its many health benefits, the slow movements, coordinated with proper breathing, can benefit everyone from the exercise novice to the professional athlete. This class works all the major muscle groups, including arms, back, chest, legs, shoulders, abdominals and buttocks. Expect a full strength workout in this hour long class. Please allow 48 hours of rest prior to taking another TBT class or completing another strength workout. All fitness levels are welcome. Please call ahead to reserve your spot. Beginner Yoga in 45 minutes. Learn yoga poses in depth and focus on the basics. All fitness levels are welcome. Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique in which participants learn physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. This practice trains the mind to remain calm and quiet in a fast, hectic, and demanding lifestyle. Benefits from regular practice include reduced tension and stress, as well as enhanced memory and learning capabilities. All fitness and ability levels are encouraged. ZUMBA! combines Latin dance themes with aerobic intervals and body sculpting movements to create a dynamic, exciting, and effective workout! All fitness and ability levels are welcome.
