During the first 5 to 7 days of free-choice feeding, limit the intake to 1 lb. for each 5 to 8 head per day. To help assure adequate mineral consumption, place the mineral feeder near the water supply or at the animals loafing area. Remove all other free-choice salt and mineral products.
